Blog – Coaches Jon & Maddie (Footicubs Staffordshire)

Jon & Maddie currently manage one early years site in Stoke which launched in late 2024. Jon has been part of the Footicubs family since 2022 with Maddie joining us this year (2024)

 

How did you get involved with Footicubs?

I (Jon) started out working for Footicubs Wrexham as an assistant coach in 2022 and became a lead coach at Ellesmere Port and Mold in 2023! I loved the job so much that I jumped at the opportunity to become a franchisee in 2024!

Maddie is my partner and is the brains behind the operation! Having watched and assisted a handful of sessions, this was enough to make the decision to become franchisees! (she loved it that much)

 

What is your favourite part of Footicubs?

The best part of Footicubs is that from our players’ first trial to their 10th, 20th, 30th, 40th awards, we get to see their development and sheer joy every session!

And the BALL MONSTER of course!

 

What is your favourite game to play at Footicubs?

Jon’s favourite game is ‘rocket ships! So much carnage, so much fun!

Maddie’s favourite is ‘animal safari’ because she loves animals and loves to see our players’ amazing impressions of them!

 

Tell us an interesting fact about yourself?

Jon has played and coached football in Madrid and Indonesia!

Maddie has a degree in Zoology and is currently training to be a zookeeper!
