‘’Team Cubs’’ is the perfect introduction to the fun world of life at Footicubs. Children are introduced to the basics of physical literacy through the theme of Football:
Each child is given the opportunity to work within their developmental level but taught in a group type environment. Classes also provide a fantastic opportunity for you to assist in your child’s early education, helping them develop physically as well as improving cognitive and social skills, with a few nursery rhymes (Magic Bag time!) along the way!
‘’Team Grizzlies’’ builds on the foundation skills and football basics learnt in ‘’Team Cubs’’ Children will continue their physical developmental journey with a focus on:
‘’Team Grizzlies’’ games cleverly disguise the learning aspect so the children begin to learn indirectly through participation. Our ‘’Magic Bag time’’ in this phase introduces children to single digit numbers and phase 1 phonics! ‘’A is for Apple…A…A…Apple!!’’ This enjoyment leads to greater confidence, which in turn leads to self-initiated participation and the beginning of independent play.
‘’Team Bears’’ session are fun-filled and increasingly football focused, with whole-child development still at the heart of what we do, meaning that even new starters can easily adapt to the environment. Our ‘’Bears’’ classes focus on:
Team Bears classes teach the fundamentals of football in a fun and engaging environment through a series of games using our tried and tested structure. Our ‘’Magic Bag time’’ focuses on one and two-digit numbers as well as further phonics! We try to encourage our little ones to work independently but we love for our ‘big people’ to continue to work with us on your child’s Footicubs journey!
